Details Improved network, improved service and an eye on the future..

The below note was distributed to all Tomahawk clients. It describes our move to a newer, more modern and overall better facility for our hosting and provisioning services. The new facility will allow us to expand as future business dictates, and will offer a much improved network infrastructure for data integrity and fault tolerance.

Tomahawk Network/Server Maintenance - Friday April 25, 2008 5-7pm
=======================================================================

This message is to inform you that we are planning a server maintenance operation this Friday from 5pm until 7pm. We will be moving our servers to a new physical location during this time. Several clients have already had their web sites moved to our new network operations center and this move will see the remaining web servers and our mail and database servers being moved.

In some cases it may be necessary for you to reboot your system to pick up the new DNS settings; the DNS settings should be picked up automatically. If by Saturday morning you are not able to view your web site, or are experiencing issues with receiving email, please send an email to support@tomahawk.ca or visit our support web site at http://support.tomahawk.ca to create a support incident. We are expecting this to be a seemless transition but know that there may be small issues.

Payment gateway partners (ie. PaymenTech, Moneris, ...) have been notified of this move, and have made necessary changes to ensure that gateways will continue to operate without any problem once the servers are back online. Our new facility will offer increased speed, network redundancy and allow us to better address fault tolerance on the network. This move will also allow us to complete our PCI (Payment Card Industry) certification.

As Tomahawk continues to grow, we look forward to serving you in the future. Your business and interest in Tomahawk is appreciated, and helps to build our focus for the future.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our network and your online assets.
