Does your CMS support animated images?

Yes, our CMS system supports animated GIF images.

With animated GIF images, the file is stored as a series of images with META information that outlines how long each frame will be displayed, and whether the image frames will loop or not. In the case of our CMS any image (animated or otherwise) can be uploaded and will remain unchanged. We refer to these in the Image Gallery as 'original' images. The CMS system will convert the image into 3 other sizes, but will only use the first frame of the animated GIF image. As a result, the CMS can use the origianl image for the animated image, but any of the re-sized images will be static and not appear animated.

The image can be resized within the CMS layout tool easily by clicking on the image, and using the image handles (square boxes on the corners) to resize the image. You may also right click on the image and selecting the "Image Properties" menu item, then change the width and height directly by inputting them into the supplied text boxes.
