How do I install the spell checker?

The Tomahawk CMS tool uses the ieSpell software to enable spell checking. The software can be easily installed, but depending on the Internet browser security settings there may be some difficulty or confusion around the process.

What follows is a step-by-step guide to installing and using the ieSpell tool.

Click on the ABC-Checkmark button in the CMS toolbar (top row around the middle). It will prompt you to install, go through the process to install it. I suggest your select "Run" instead of "Save", this way it runs right from the browser and you don't have to find it and run it separately.

After it is installed, click on the same button (ABC-Checkmark ). It will tell you that the ieSpell is not installed. Click OK to install it. You will then see an ActiveX warning bar in the browser (yellow bar below the buttons at the top). Right click that bar and select to install the ActiveX control.

You should now be able to click on the spell check button and see the ieSpell window.
